Zoë Taylor is an illustrator/visual artist based in London. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2009 Zoe has been commissioned by Luella Bartleyfor whom she created T-shirt graphics and illustrations to her recent book “Luella’s Guide to English Style”. She regularly illustrates for AnOther Magazine and her work has also appeared in The Guardian, The Independent, Syntax Editions, Le Gun, London Fashion Week’s The Daily and others. I love her dark, inky, sinister and melodramatic illustrations. www.zoetaylor.co.uk

I love how dark these illustrations are
ReplyDeleteSomething about it makes me think of Charles Addams or rather that one comic with the woman who would later be Ophelia in the Addams Family TV show and her husband... "There's enough hate in my heart for the both of us."
ReplyDeleteAlso, old detective/thriller books' covers!
But it's different, there is definitely a specific mood to this, I love the way she uses colors and shadows.
