This Saturday the 31th of August the international bi-annual illustration art show Illustrative Berlin starts again for the 6th time! Over 200 illustrators from all around the world will be taking part once again to complete the Festival in Berlin at the Direktorenhaus (Berlin-Mitte), located in the heart of the creative capital. For the 2013 edition, the curators Pascal Johanssen and Katja Kleiss collected a high quality selection of illustration art - showcasing "illustration stars" as well as young, upcoming artists and unique design collectives. The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, animations and editioned works. The festival celebrates contemporary illustration and graphic art with its Main Exhibition, the Nominees of the Young Illustrators Award, the Polish Illustration Focus and several shows from universities and agencies. A must see for all illustrators and illustration lovers!
